This was originally removed in d4d0e449d7.
The intent was not to maintain hydra expression at two places.
Nowadays we have enough devs to maintain this despite copy/pasta.
This should encourage more people to use Hydra, which is a really
great piece of software together with Nix.
Tested a deploy using https://github.com/peti/hydra-tutorial
This command was useful when NixOS was spread across multiple
repositories, but now it's pretty pointless (and obfuscates what
happens, i.e. "git clone git://github.com/NixOS/nixpkgs.git").
This adds a Taskserver module along with documentation and a small
helper tool which eases managing a custom CA along with Taskserver
organisations, users and groups.
Taskserver is the server component of Taskwarrior, a TODO list
application for the command line.
The work has been started by @matthiasbeyer back in mid 2015 and I have
continued to work on it recently, so this merge contains commits from
both of us.
Thanks particularly to @nbp and @matthiasbeyer for reviewing and
suggesting improvements.
I've tested this with the new test (nixos/tests/taskserver.nix) this
branch adds and it fails because of the changes introduced by the
closure-size branch, so we need to do additional work on base of this.
This module adds support for defining a flexget service.
Due to flexget insisting on being able to write all over where it finds
its configuration file, we use a ExecStartPre hook to copy the generated
configuration file into place under the user's home. It's fairly ugly
and I'm very open to suggestions
This module adds an option `security.hideProcessInformation` that, when
enabled, restricts access to process information such as command-line
arguments to the process owner. The module adds a static group "proc"
whose members are exempt from process information hiding.
Ideally, this feature would be implemented by simply adding the
appropriate mount options to `fileSystems."/proc".fsOptions`, but this
was found to not work in vmtests. To ensure that process information
hiding is enforced, we use a systemd service unit that remounts `/proc`
after `systemd-remount-fs.service` has completed.
To verify the correctness of the feature, simple tests were added to
nixos/tests/misc: the test ensures that unprivileged users cannot see
process information owned by another user, while members of "proc" CAN.

With a cluttered up module source it's really a pain to navigate through
it, so it's a good idea to put it into another file.
No changes in functionality here, just splitting up the files and fixing
references.

This basic module allows you to specify the tmux configuration.
As great as tmux is, some of the defaults are pretty awful, so having a
way to specify the config really helps.
- services.iodined moved to services.iodine
- configuration file backwards compatable
- old iodine server configuration moved to services.iodine.server
- attribute set services.iodine.clients added to specify any number
of iodine clients
- example:
iodine.clients.home = { server = "iodinesubdomain.yourserver.com"; ... };
- client services names iodine-name where name would be home
- Enforce that an option declaration has a "defaultText" if and only if the
type of the option derives from "package", "packageSet" or "nixpkgsConfig"
and if a "default" attribute is defined.
- Enforce that the value of the "example" attribute is wrapped with "literalExample"
if the type of the option derives from "package", "packageSet" or "nixpkgsConfig".
- Warn if a "defaultText" is defined in an option declaration if the type of
the option does not derive from "package", "packageSet" or "nixpkgsConfig".
- Warn if no "type" is defined in an option declaration.
Both Qt and GTK load plugins from the active profiles
automatically, so it is sufficient to install input methods
system-wide. Overriding the plugin paths may interfere with correct
operation of other plugins.
Add a module to make options to pam_oath module configurable.
These are:
- enable - enable the OATH pam module
- window - number of OTPs to check
- digits - length of the OTP (adds support for two-factor auth)
- usersFile - filename to store OATH credentials in
The Bitmessage protocol v3 became mandatory on 16 Nov 2014 and notbit does not support it, nor has there been any activity in the project repository since then.
Part of the way towards #11864. We still don't have the auditd
userland logging daemon, but journald also tracks audit logs so we
can already use this.

Adds a new service module for shairport-sync. Tested with a local
and remote pulseaudio server. Needs to be run as a user in the pulse group
to access pulseaudio.
This new service invokes `simp_le` for a defined set of certs on a regular
basis with a systemd timer. `simp_le` is smart enough to handle account
registration, domain validation and renewal on its own. The only thing
required is an existing HTTP server that serves the path
`/.well-known/acme-challenge` from the webroot cert parameter.

This module implements a way to start one or more bepasty servers.
It supports configuring the listen address of gunicorn and how bepasty
behaves internally.
Configuring multiple bepasty servers provides a way to serve pastes externally
without authentication and provide creating,listing,deleting pastes interally.
nginx can be used to provide access via hostname + listen address.

This option allows to define (declarative) Jenkins jobs, using Jenkins
Job Builder (JJB) as backend.

Jobs can be defined using YAML, JSON and Nix.
Note that it really is declarative configuration; if you remove a
previously defined job, the module will remove the jobdir under
$JENKINS_HOME.
Jobs managed through the Jenkins WebUI (or by other means) are not
touched by this module.

`man 1 info` says:
The first non-option argument, if present, is the menu entry to
start from; it is searched for in all `dir' files along INFOPATH.
If it is not present, info merges all `dir' files and shows the
result. Any remaining arguments are treated as the names of menu
items relative to the initial node visited.
Which means that this does what previous programs/info did and #8519
(on-the-fly infodir generation for Emacs) wanted to do, but for both
programs.
This provides support for Ubuntu Fan Networking [1].
This includes:
* The fanctl package, and a corresponding NixOS service.
* iproute patches.
* kernel patches.

In 14f09e0, I've introduced the module under modules/programs, because
the legacy virtualbox.nix was also under that path. But because we
already have modules/virtualisation/virtualbox-guest.nix, it really
makes sense to put this module alongside of it as well.
This module thus has no change in functionality and I've tested
evaluation against nixos/tests/virtualbox.nix and the manual.

This module generates a /boot/extlinux/extlinux.conf bootloader
configuration file that is supported by e.g. U-Boot:

With this, all ARM boards supported by U-Boot can be booted in a common
way (a single boot file generator, all boards booting via initrd like
x86) and with same boot menu functionality as GRUB has.

This is essentially what's been done for the official NixOS build slaves
and I'm using it as well for a few of my machines and my own Hydra
slaves.
