python3.pkgs.graphite_api: remove 
Due to lack of maintenance.  It doesn't build, the last upstream
commit was in 2017, and last significant change in Nixpkgs was in
2018.

python3.pkgs.graphite_beacon: remove 
Due to lack of maintenance.  It is not compatible with the default
Python version (due to the tornado 5) dependency, and doesn't look
like it will be any time soon.

pennae e67a646a92 treewide: add defaultText to remaining options 
these are mostly options that use alias bindings, bindings to constants,
or bindings to calculated values.

pennae fb0e5be843 treewide: add defaultText for options with simple interpolation defaults 
adds defaultText for all options that use `cfg.*` values in their
defaults, but only for interpolations with no extra processing (other
than toString where necessary)

Bas van Dijk 0aae3fda06 graphite: 1.0.2 -> 1.1.3 & moved dependencies to python-modules (#44276) 
Fixes #30891

* Upgrade `graphite-web`, `carbon` and `whisper` from 1.0.2 -> 1.1.3.

* Replaced the deprecated `pythonPackages.graphite_influxdb` with
  `pythonPackages.influxgraph.`

* Renamed `pythonPackages.graphite_web` to `pythonPackages.graphite-web`
  to be consistent with the Python package name.

* Replaced the unmaintained `pythonPackages.graphite_pager` with
  `pythonPackages.graphitepager`

* Moved all new packages from `python-packages.nix` to
  `pkgs/development/python-modules`

Guillaume Maudoux 7325ad9ab7 graphite: override django and django_tagging 
instead of depending on specific versions in the django_tagging_0_4_3
and graphite_web derivations.

This should fix: https://github.com/NixOS/nixpkgs/pull/30277#discussion_r145393088

makefu 626bfce3b8 graphite: fix carbonCache graphiteWeb graphiteApi 
This commit implements the changes necessary to start up a graphite carbon Cache
with twisted and start the corresponding graphiteWeb service.
Dependencies need to be included via python buildEnv to include all recursive
implicit dependencies.

Additionally cairo is a requirement of graphiteWeb and pycairo is not a standard
python package (buildPythonPackage) and therefore cannot be included via
buildEnv. It also needs cairo in the Library PATH.

Bas van Dijk 3ac171cefb graphite service: store PID files under /run and configure systemd to use them 
The advantage of putting the PID file under the ephemeral /run is that
when the machine crashes /run gets cleared allowing graphite to start
once the machine is rebooted.

We also set the PIDFile systemd option so that systemd knows the correct
PID and enables systemd to remove the file after service shut down.

Peter Simons 96a7e65c37 nixos/modules/services/monitoring/graphite.nix: don't create graphite user unconditionally 
I'm not sure what exactly this user is needed for, i.e. under what circumstances
it must exist or not, but creating it unconditionally seems like the wrong thing
to do. I complained to @offlinehacker about this on Github, but got no response
for a week or so. I'm disabling the extraUsers bit to put out the fire, and now
hope that someone who actually knows about Graphite implements a proper solution
later.
